Initial Priorities:
- Learn and understand the culture of Blind Brook including agronomic, daily operations and course maintenance practices
- Develops familiarity with leadership team to assure quality standards are met
- Actively participate in leadership team discussions, planning and team building.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of golf course maintenance experience; will consider those with transferrable skills from a related field or those with internship experiences.
- Certificate, Associates or Bachelor’s degree in turfgrass science or agronomy related field.
- Must obtain New York State Pesticide License within 90 days of hire
- The right individual will carry high expectations for themselves and the golf course at all times.
- Ability to work 60-65 hours on average in season, 40-45 in the winter months.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience (DOE $60,000-$75,000 salary)
