Help Local Students Start the School Year Strong
As families across our community prepare for a new school year, many are facing difficult choices between paying bills, putting food on the table, and purchasing the school supplies their children need to succeed.
At Daystar, we believe every child deserves to start the school year feeling confident, prepared, and ready to learn. That’s why we’re launching Packs & Snacks for Kids, our annual back-to-school drive supporting local students and families right here in Pinellas County.
This year, we are proud to partner with St. Petersburg Housing Authority to help provide essential school supplies, backpacks, and healthy snacks to children preparing for the upcoming school year.
How Your Donation Helps
All donated supplies will be distributed directly to local children and families during a Back-to-School Community Event taking place this August in partnership with St. Petersburg Housing Authority.
This event will help students in our community begin the school year equipped with the supplies and support they need to succeed.
What We’re Collecting:
- Backpacks
- Granola bars
- Goldfish crackers
- Pretzels
- Fruit snacks
- Applesauce pouches
- Crackers
- Juice boxes
- Individually packaged healthy snacks
We are collecting donations now through July 31.
Please donate only unopened, individually packaged snack items.

Donations can be dropped off Monday - Friday 9 AM - 4 PM.
