Recent global events and tech innovations have raised customer expectations. Join Dilip Kumar, VP of Applications at AWS, to explore the market dynamics that impact modern customer service and communication and to learn how contact center, IT, and communication leaders can transform these challenges into opportunities to delight customers.

In this role, he oversees the growth and development of the suite of AWS Applications and Services for Contact Centers, Customer Engagement, Communication Workloads, Productivity Tools, Checkout and Identity Services (Just Walk Out, Amazon One), and newly launched AWS Services like AWS Supply Chain and AWS Clean Rooms.

Prior to joining AWS, Dilip held a variety of roles in Amazon’s Consumer business where he had P&L responsibility for Amazon Go and Amazon Style physical stores. His teams were responsible for innovations like Amazon Just Walk Out, Amazon Dash Carts, and Amazon One that power many of Amazon’s own stores as well as third-party brands. He also served two years as Jeff Bezos’s Technical Advisor.

In 2022, Dilip was recognized as one of Adweek’s Top 50 executives. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science and earned his MBA at The Wharton School.
