I am so excited to be speaking again at IAAPA Expo 2026! This year I am participating in 4 different edusessions. On Monday, 11/16, at 10:00 am I am part of a very exciting panel with my friends from the Zoological side of our industry called "Balancing Wow and Well-Being" in room S310AB. This edusession explores how to create compelling events and edutainment without compromising animal health and safety. Then at 2:30 pm in room S330AB I join my friend and colleague, Todd Zimmerman from Odd-O-Ts for a session called "Checks and Balances" about assembling creative teams using both internal and external resources. On Tuesday, 11/17, I'll be teaching a session at 1:30 pm in The Haunting Grounds called "Building an After Dark Family" where we will explore casting, training and maintaining staff for Halloween festivals and events. My final edusession is on Wednesday, 11/18, at 2:30 pm in room S310AB with Jeff Conover from Disney. This session is called "The Power of Puppets" and will explore how puppetry can be used to create the impossible for attractions of all sizes. I look forward to seeing you at the show!
