AGL is the leading manufacturer/distributor of high quality laminating equipment and finishing supplies. At ISA 2025, AGL will showcase two examples of our class leading laminators. Each are designed with key features that maximize efficiencies in your finishing department. The high-speed, high-performance AGL 64HPT and the popular Compadre laminators. Our booth, #4749, is in the heart of the Wrap Experience floor so it made perfect sense to bring the most powerful, industry proven, roll-to-roll laminator in the wrap industry. The 64HPT is a high-performance laminator, designed for medium to high volume businesses with a variety of printing systems. Solvent, latex, and UV printed materials are no problem for the 64HPT. All four of the HPT’s supply and wind up stations are super duty, cantilevered stations capable of supporting 300' material rolls. This facilitates easy loading and unloading of materials. The additional standard features of the 64HPT include: Pneumatically controlled non-crowned rollers to provide uniform, consistent pressure---Up to 320 degree top heated roller to work with all types of laminates and adhesives---Repeatable Tension Systems “RTS” for consistent, dialed in, material tension settings---Versatile media infeed to laminate everything, from boards to roll to roll wrap vinyl---Pneumatic wind up stations capable of handling heavy materials---Production speeds of 30 fpm. A 50yd roll laminated in 5 minutes. These standard features make the 64HPT a very versatile laminator for roll to roll laminating, mounting, pre-masking, decaling, over laminating using PSA and thermal laminates. The 64HPT can also be equipped with optional class leading features, making it the ultimate high-performance laminator. At the heart of every AGL laminator are our non-crowned rollers. They provide even and uniform pressure to eliminate walking and boat waking issues. Other manufacturers will claim that the Crown in their rollers is there to Smooth Out the film during the lamination process. Crowned rollers compensate for the nip rolls bending while it is under load during the laminating process. The crowned rollers contact each other and the laminating materials in the middle before touching the outside edges. This moves the middle of the product through the machine at a slightly faster rate than the outside edges causing boat waking or d waves. Crowned roller assemblies must be operated in one very specific pressure range for them to perform properly because of this inherent design weakness. Custom designed laminating systems are our specialty. AGL will also have company representatives on hand to discuss your laminating needs. In addition to laminating machines, AGL offers a complete line of Cover-Rite over-laminating films, Mount-Smart mounting adhesives, Shadow-Block backing films and Print-Smart vinyl media. At ISA 2025, AGL will showcase an economical vinyl media/laminate combo match component solution for fleet graphics. Offered in both a permanent or removable adhesive, air egress, block out, and 4 year rating. |
