About Cemp:
Established in 1954, Cemp was among the first companies in Italy to manufacture flameproof motors. Over the years, the product range has broadened introducing flameproof motors with brake, electric pumps for printing machines, flameproof motors for Group IIC gases and for mining, non-sparking and safe area motors. In 2014 Cemp has been acquired by Regal Rexnord Corporation. Cemp offers, besides standard products, a consulting and engineering service to offer “tailor made” special motors to customers’ requirements. In almost seventy years of activity, it has supplied the market with more than a million units. Cemp motors are suitable in chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical plants, in refineries, thermoelectric plants, mines, offshore oil platforms, oil pipelines, gas pipelines, on board ships, printing machines and other industrial environments; wherever it is necessary to prevent from explosions and fires due to gases, powders or inflammable liquids.
