Paramount Country Club located in New City, New York is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated individual to join as Senior Assistant Superintendent.
Under the Superintendent's supervision, the Senior Assistant Superintendent helps manage the golf course maintenance and clubhouse grounds departments’ day-to-day activities through maintaining high quality standards, developing and retaining maintenance employees, and exceeding member expectations.
A special emphasis will be on scheduling, staff management and collaboration with the Golf Course Superintendent on agronomic programming.

Initial Priorities of the Position:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and supervising the maintenance of: putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and associated support facilities.
- Supervise training and instructs equipment operators in the safe, efficient operation and care of all equipment.
- Supervises and participates in the operation and maintenance of pumps, irrigation, and drainage systems.
- Assists in personnel management of the maintenance staff and is responsible for scheduling and supervising maintenance work to achieve the most efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
- Reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and may serve in the Superintendent's capacity during his/her absence.
- Help manage crew in all aspects of maintenance
- Assist in application of chemicals and fertilizer
- Assist in managing moisture on all playing surfaces with special attention to putting green surfaces

Education and Experience:
- Graduate of Certificate, 2 or 4 year turf program.
- 2-3 years as an assistant, second assistant or intern at a similar high-end facility.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $80,000- $95,000 per year
- Individual Health insurance Is covered 75/25.
