Ivory Williams, a resident of Bedford Heights, recognizes the strength in seeking assistance as we age. He believes it's a gateway to valuable knowledge, resources, and skills.
When a representative from Benjamin Rose visited his senior apartment complex, Ivory discovered a proactive organization dedicated to aging gracefully. Intrigued by their financial education programs, which provides counseling and incentives for saving, he reached out to explore his options.
Through four financial education workshops and six counseling sessions in the Learn and Earn Account Program (LEAP), Ivory gained valuable insights into prudent financial management. The program also offers a free credit report and, in partnership with US Bank, provides a $500 match for ten monthly deposits of $50.
"It's not just about saving money. They guide you, taking your unique financial situation into account," Ivory shares. "Support is there every step of the way, making sure you're not on this journey alone."
Thrilled with the results and eager to learn more, Ivory signed up for the 8-week Connecting Our Seniors to Technology (COST) computer class, dedicated to lifelong learning in an ever-evolving technological landscape.
