Shima Seiki USA, Inc.

Founded in 1986, SHIMA SEIKI U.S.A. has strived continuously to respond to all our customers' needs. In the U.S.A., we specifically highlight the benefits of WHOLEGARMENT - 3D Knitting which is the most sustainable form of knitting today. This technology produces goods straight from yarn directly to the final product, skipping fabric buying and cutting processes. By eliminating the labor-intensive processes in knitting, we are reshoring knit production closer to the consumption region instead of importing goods from overseas. By producing goods closer to the consumer market, the 3D knitting technology allows for the reduction of energy, carbon emission, and shipping costs required importing goods from overseas. Simultaneously, by producing realistic quantities as needed in real-time, we hope to solve the overproduction problem many industries face today. In each of our US Offices, we feature and showcase the latest knitting technologies and capabilities, so our customers can learn and work on technologically advanced knitted goods that are also sustainably made. In addition, we offer educational digitalized knit classes on our SDS-ONE APEX 3D Design system to help streamline the entire supply chain by maximizing the function of digital yarn, virtual knit swatches, and 3D virtual fitting. SHIMA SEIKI U.S.A. is proud to be your comprehensive source for all your knitting needs.
